Our serpentine chair in fumed quarter sawn white oak pulls from the clean lines of Shaker and American bungalow design creating a timeless silhouette. We fume each oak piece by hand in an ammonia tent to produce the deep warm brown tones.  A traditional arts and crafts style finish, the fuming process offers historic accuracy as well as unique durability and color penetration— ultimately enhancing the beauty of the wood without obscuring its grain resulting in a finish that mellows over time.

The chair features decorative plugs that lock the mortise and tenon joints and is as comfortable as it is stable. This chair is a natural complement to any kitchen or dining room.
