This narrow hall table is an interpretation of historic Thomas Sheraton design. It features a butterflied flame birch top with a natural finish. The square hand-cut walnut locking tenon plugs add a unique period flare and a marked contrast in color to the blonde birch casework. Attention to detail and craftsmanship is the hallmark of the piece. The table features mortise-and-tenon joint work, a flame birch apron with double scratch bead, and hand turned legs that feature Sheraton's characteristic taper foot.
The design is typical of federal style furniture and illustrative of Sheraton's simple delicate and graceful pieces, often with dramatically contrasting wooden details.
Dimensions: 28.5 " high, 17 " wide; and 5 ' long
