Own a piece of American history from our licensed Thomas Jefferson's Monticello™ collection. Tiers of shelves on this dumbwaiter can help you entertain with ease.
The original dumbwaiter sits in the dining room of Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello estate. It is believed to have been crafted in the Monticello joinery for Jefferson’s use at Poplar Forest, his Bedford County retreat. The piece features walnut shelving set within yellow pine casework. Jefferson likely used the original dumbwaiter when he entertained dinner guests, a custom he picked up during his time in France.
All of our licensed pieces are custom commissions, hand-crafted in our boutique studio. The Monticello Dumbwaiter® is part of our licensed Monticello furniture collection.
